In a just world, this would have been a $200 million plus blockbuster, and challenged the popularity of the Austin Powers franchise. A loving satire of down to the finest detail of blacksploitation. Michael Jai White is brilliant. Scott Sanders' direction should be a textbook for anyone making comedy.
Set in a lovingly created 70s kung fu style, this film is chock full of fun. The humour ranges from the childish and sometimes crass to the incredibly subtle and affectionately parodic. A great film to watch with a few drinks and a few friends.
