This is one of those movies that's been sitting in my Netflix queue for months but I just haven't gotten around to watching yet. Your rec might help me change that - thanks!
Dark and horrifying. The social commentary interlaces with the brutality of scenes, leaving your mind twisted and burned in its wake. Cons: Much the same reasons as the Pros column.
An incredible feat of linguistic excellence from Burgess combined with Kubrick's stark portrayal leads to a movie that is both intellectually deep and emotionally horrifying. Cons: Ultra-violence, just in general. It's a bit hard to watch and some just won't be able to get past that, which is understandable.
