First movie my wife and I ever saw multiple times on its first run in theatres. One of the first we brought for the VCR. (that's right...the VCR)

It was my first date movie in college. If she loved the movie then I knew she had a great sense of humor. If the date didn't then I didn't waste my time.

This is one of the movies I grew up on: it is a masterpiece of surreal glory. Funny and odd and sweet all at the same time.
