An intelligent contrast to the traditional hero/villain -setting, and in my mind also partly a departure from traditional U.S. western/action -movies. Times change, folks. Well cut, entertaining, surprising. Among best flicks of the Coen brothers.

very good for the most part, lots of violence which was a plus. interesting and dynamic characters.
Cons: the ending didn't seem to flow very well with the rest of the movie, the death of the protagonist was dissapointing.

Excellent movie-- great plot and amazing characters. Engaging dialogue and intense scenes. A must-watch for Coen fans.
Cons: While the story is simple, the underlying meaning is a bit more complex. Some may need to re-watch the film to better understand the ending.
