Inspiring, uplifting, emotional. One of the few movies to actually make me truly feel emotion at the end. Also who wouldn't love two hours and twenty-two minutes of listening to Morgan Freeman's voice?

I wasn't particularly interested in watching this movie but decided to and I don't regret at all! Really good story, great end and excellent performances. It is considered one of the best rated of all times.

This is one of my favorite movies. The framing of the movie through a limited narrative of a fellow inmate is really clever and creates a higher level of interest in all the other characters.

The story makes the movie. Morgan Freeman's character tells the tale. It's often very hard hitting, the grief and anxiety it brings smacks you in the face. Other times it's like being gently lead by an angel into joy.

Really enjoy this movie. Always seems to be on TNT on the weekends. Great performances.
Cons: I don't know if I would call this movie sad in the same way that many others in this topic are.
