This DVD had been sitting on my To Watch stack for ten years before I finally watched it. I tried when I first got it but yanked it out after five minutes. Should have had more patience. After ten minutes I thought I had it all figured out, but I was wrong. Ebert was right on the money: "Diabolical and absorbing."

Great movie. Nolan is a master of form and structure, and you will be enthralled while you try and fit all the pieces of the puzzle together. Backwards.

One of those movies that when its over you need to watch again to catch things you missed.

Interesting plot development, I found that after the plot of the story is fully understood by the viewer that this movie loses a lot of rewatchability

Primarily a bit of a mind exercise, the plot is a new experience with plenty of intrigue

It's really interesting to watch this again after Nolan's "Inception." He's fascinated to see how far characters go to build defenses against their own pain, suffering, and guilt. Memento creates a new genre of "loopy-noir." There are blissfully absurd humorous moments. Just a great, mysterious ride with a twist that racks your brain just enough.

A completely engrossing experience that demands and deserves multiple viewings. Watch it with a friend, you'll want company afterward for conversation.

dark, surreal, bizarre, convoluted...one of my all time favorites.

You know a film is fantastic when you can look back ten years after its made and it still feels cutting-edge and original. A fantastic film and a model example of how to make a non-linear narrative.
Cons: It ends.

Great movie. I'd liketo erase it from my memory so that I could re-experience it.

Very clever use of going backward in time.
Cons: Inspired a bunch of crappy movies that jump around too much.
