I'm not sure there's a science fiction movie I like more than this one.

One of the best science fiction movies of all time. I prefer the director's cut, but the original is good on its own merit.

The film Is dark and suspenseful, a moody, thought provoking scifi.

Still the best SF film of all time. The special effects, more than 20 years old, blow everything else away. Story's not bad, either!

Awesome contribution to (if not a pillar of) the Cyberpunk genre. Fabulously done.

It's one of the more popular early 80's films based on clip consumption. Here's a scene called, "retiring Zhora" (movieclips.com/X6MQ-blade-runner-movie-retiring-zhora/) where Deckard (Harrison Ford) shoots Zhora (Joanna Cassidy) in the back as she crashes through storefront windows.

Doesn't feel dated. Fine cast. One of the better Philip K. Dick adaptations committed to the big screen.
Cons: Seems like every few years, there's a new cut.

Holy crap this movie is really way before its time. Fantastic idea. The movie was taken from a Phillip K. Dick book. (Great writer). This move has great performances. Ruter Hauer's best movie
Cons: A lot of different versions...(Watch them all) LOL......

As a teenager this was the first sci-fi film that "spoke" to me.
Cons: How did I come away from this thinking Sean Young was hot?
ffoakes recommended this 2 years, 9 months ago
mesmerizing
Cons: with so many different versions, you must see them all to learn all the possible endings.
When I think of it, its not really a con.

Nice that Phil Dick finally got his props. Great American novelist.
Cons: Too bad he didn't live to enjoy his success. He deserved better.
dystopic_thinker recommended this 3 years, 8 months ago
Excellent performance by Rutger Hauer. Dark and gritty future as portrayed visually does a good job evoking P.K. Dick's internally focused writing.
Cons: Another movie with Harrison Ford making his funny pain faces.
