A Contemporary Genius? At first his works can be slightly underwhelming, but I think that perhaps its because they are so subtle and tap into such fundamental human concerns that they are a bit easy to take for granted. Goldsworthy is absolutely a genius and every time I see his works they excite me more and more.

I remember finding a book by Andy with a friend at the Canadian Centre for Architecture bookstore years ago. Makes you look at nature, form, colour, line ... and patience with fresh eyes.

goldsworthy is amazing. having seen two of his works in person, photos hardly do him justice

very pretty, often ephemeral and dauntingly labor-intensive.
Cons: generally, lacks a compelling narrative. a bit pedestrian.
