The classic is the best version of this drink. First had it at a beachside bar in the Florida Keys, which is maybe why I like it so much :)

These are almost guaranteed to be good because they have to be made with fresh mint...ah, refreshing!

My favorite cocktail and apparently, Ernest Hemingway's. I've had a lot of good variations, grapefruit or blood orange instead of lime, basil instead of mint, but I always return to the classic version. Always make it fresh.

Refreshing and delicious.
Cons: A lot of work to do well: requires fresh ingredients, muddling, and isn't very forgiving. Many places make a poor version with nasty pre-made syrups.

If properly done (smashed lime and mint, melted sugar, lots of mint as decoration) it's the most refreshing cocktail ever
Cons: common errors: too much sugar, no fresh mint, lousy rum, not smashed lime

Cons: Very few people can do it properly. Too much or not enough rum can ruin it.

delicious and refreshing. a nice variation is the black and blue mojito (blackberries and blueberries added)
Cons: a lot of bars won't make it for naught of mint or time
