While I don't buy-in to the fact that this was a concept album in its entirety it is amazing that they did this in 1967! It is an incredible synthesis of creativity and harmonic and musical mastery.

I love to listen to the transition from "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" to "With a Little Help from My Friends".

The basis of all post-1960's popular music. The influence of this work is still active more than 40 years later. No one has come close to this kind of impact.
Cons: The end of the live performances of the Beatles, despite notable exceptions like Get Back.
