One of the best metal bands of all time. Metallica (especially the older stuff) capture the rage that lives inside you. Metal that is enjoyable to those new to the genre as well as more seasoned listeners.

As I grew up, my metal was always based on Metallica. This remains true today. They're awesome. Anyone who likes metal will like Metallica.

I love Metallica! They're up there in the top three of my favorite bands. Raised on them, and I plan to teach my son about their badassness.

World's premiere metal band. Wrote classic songs that influenced just about everyone that came after.
Cons: Gettin' near to needing to hang it up.

Tough, high energy, cathartic metal that really added to the thrash subgenre. True, some albums are better than others, but it's often a matter of taste.
Cons: Lars Ulrich. Sometimes I want to punch him.
