As melodramatic as Meat Loaf, but with more beautiful music. Makes me laugh whenever I hear it, but fondly.

Definitely an acquired taste, but there's no question that all the band members are quite talented.

Beautiful and incredible alternative music. They are not musicians, but modern day composers. Their music and lyrics are just incredible. The sound of Matthew Bellamy's voice will put you in shock as he shreds his guitar. Chris Wolstenholme plays bass like no other and Dom Howard plays drums like Yo-Yo Ma plays the cello. A spectacle you can't miss.

Really powerful sound for a 3-piece band. I've liked everything they've done, from Origin of Symmetry up to Resistance. They're not afraid to experiment with new sounds, and I highly respect that.
Cons: Their sound takes a while to get used to, and if you're bound to become obsessed with a particular sound you might be disappointed since Muse likes to experiment.

One-of-a-kind. for a three-piece band (wait a minute, they're four now?), they can really pack a punch. first three albums are to die for, as well as 80% of their b-sides.
Cons: their new stuff is not to my liking. I have no idea where they're going with it.

Cons: Their style may take a while to get used to, especially with some of their older material.
