One of the best bands to introduce a new listener to the metalcore genre. Even if you're a hardcore fan of metal, you will still like them. No matter what, their music will never get old, and each of their albums have its own unique, refreshing sounds. If you listen really deeply to their music, the lyrics have meaning and the music is played and sung skillfully.

one of the greatest, most talented bands of our time. From Sounding the Seventh Trumpet to City of Evil, Avenged Sevenfold reinvented themselves, losing much of the hardcore screams, but gaining so much more. I saw them live a few months ago, one of the best experiences of my life. We'll miss you Rev!

Real good band, the vocals are just amazing. From the ''City of Evil'' album and further it gets just better. The first impression must be the vocals, and the awsome *rythm* in every song.

Amazing music, very well put together. I am a huge fan of their original two albums. Sounding the Seventh Trumpet and Waking the Fallen
Cons: They changed their sound after their second album. The music is still amazing but its not my cup of tea

Great technical and energetic metal.
Cons: Too much tough guy imagery. I'm pretty sure most of the band is gay.

One of the best rock bands ever. They also have a good variety of song types in terms of lyrics and mood.
Cons: Without Jimmy, it won't be the same (best drummer in the world, RIP)
