Not recommending this. This movie gave me nightmares as a child. All of the children in this movie died except Charlie of course. They never left the Chocolate Factory. Gene Wilder is a creepy weirdo. And how about that part when they were on the boat in the tunnel? Did the worm crawling across that guy's face gross anyone else out?!

Gene Wilder as the slightly (or completely) insane, reclusive confectioner.
Cons: It's like they didn't even try on the flying glass elevator scene.

One of my favorite movies of all time. This Gene Wilder version is classic. The Tim Burton remake with Johnny Depp made me sick to the stomach.
