We bought the first model just over a year ago. I was debating between it and a notebook for my kids. So glad I went with this. It is inexpensive and does all the notebook could do. It is very compatible with all the Microsoft Office products, it emails, it texts, it's a great camera, it's a kindle, it has all the android apps available. I like its size so much more than the huge iPad.
