Hands down the best computer available. Will not find a better operating system in security, stability, or beauty. Hardware lasts, and Apple stands behind their products. Endures for years and years and years without any failures. You won't be disappointed. As for the $ - you'll end up spending more on cheap PCs w/ Antivirus & the replacement you'll need a year later. Go Mac - you never go back.

The best computer I've ever owned. Flash storage + 1440 px wide screen (current Pro 13" has 1280, what a shame) + huge ass battery = WIN

Coming from a 15" MacBook Pro, the Air is feels even lighter than it actually is. Though there's not as much real estate, and technically not as much horsepower, I find that the MBA is more than enough for processor intensive tasks like HD video editing. I also tend to have 15 apps open at a minimum, and it hardly ever bats an eye. Battery life isn't too shabby either. Best laptop I've ever owned.

It has Mac OS X, and the hardware design is gorgeous. Very thin and light-weight.
Cons: Heats up and slows down when trying to play Vimeo videos. Limited ports: no ethernet, only one USB.
