If you know a foreign language and can spare some time go here and volunteer to translate some videos. Many, many kids would be very grateful if you do.

An effort to spread the power of eduction through the internet to unprivileged areas of the world. A force to change the current broken eduction system. A fresh perspective to look at how we learn and how we teach.

Bite-sized lectures on anything from arithmetic to organic chemistry. Free. With exercises. And a map of topics. No high-minded theoretical education reform here. Just running with what works, Silicon Valley-style.

Sal Khan presents a broad variety of material in short, meaty, easily-digestible chunks. There are exercises to help you out, or you can just watch the videos, which are illustrated as he talks to engage all types of learners. Great for reviewing high school math and science, as well as learning new concepts.
