The PS3 is particularly notable for being much more than a game console. With things like 3D and Blu-Ray capabilities, it is definitely a jack of all trades. It also has some great game exclusives that make it worth owning even if you have a 360.

graphics and storage options/upgrade better than 360, 3d bluray compatible out of the box (and 3d games to boot)...what's not to love???

Great games, awesome streaming options, plays blu-ray,does 3D: what's not to like? errr - okay: Move sucks - big time. Sony::: in case you are listening, pair this up with the Kinect!

Great as a media player! Has BRD capabilities and media sharing. Also upscales all content to HD.

An HD-slinging multimedia powerhouse, the PS3 redefined "future-proof" when released. It continues to be my personal favorite media item and I use it daily for video, internet, and movies.

Great gaming console with a Blu-Ray player, plus you don't have to sign up for an annoyingly expensive online network to use Netflix :P

Fantastic exclusive titles such as Uncharted, LittleBigPlanet, Heavy Rain, Gran Turismo, etc., blu-ray support, free online service, and personally I like its controller more than any other.

Wow, first. Ok. Although at this time we are in a PSN black out going on three weeks, I still support PS3 in being the BEST console to get. Free online, built-in wi-fi, huge hard drives, blu ray, great processing power. ETC.
