Women's Studies is a great field because it teaches you about disparities, history, and accomplishments at the same time. It teaches about diversity. Women are important; it is important to learn the theory behind the history and our future. Everyone came from a woman, and half the world is made up of women. Proud to be a WS major.

I started out as a comprehensive history major. My first class my freshman year was American Women's History in which I was so inspired I picked up a Women's Studies minor and decided Women's History was what I wanted to teach. Then I found myself taking more Women's Studies classes than History classes, so I became a double major. Every college career can benefit from a Women's Studies class.
