Brandon Sanderson is a crafty, thoughtful writer that manages to also be entertaining.

Plot twists, strong writing, and a unique setting. This book is a good example of Brandon Sanderson's strengths.
Cons: The plot can drag in places, and many elements of the story are frustratingly random and arbitrary until eventually explained.
