walked out of the theatre when it was all over and realised i didn't remember any of the characters' names. and all the armour in this looked like car parts - not the good kind either. like shiny plastic modern ones.

Fantastic superhero movie. It combines fantasy and science-fiction in unexpected and fantastic ways, and ties back to the comic series perfectly. A really great film

Didn't think this was going to be very good going into it. I was pleasantly surprised. Amazing special effects, good acting, and a good (semi cheesy but good) story. Definitely worth a rent if you are bored on a weeknight.

for such a high-caliber cast and director, this was such a major let-down. It is painful to watch Natalie Portman and Stellan Skarsgard stumble through such a goofy and bad story, especially after seeing Portman in Black Swan. The actor who played Loki was great, everyone else..bad.

I had wondered how they were going to handle the whole "godhood" thing. I thought the writers handled it quite well. The art direction and SFX for Asgard were quite good. All in all: a fun comic book adaptation; nothing more or less.

Better than I expected, but not as good as I'd hoped. Basically, two movies: in Asgard, on Earth. Either would have been a better movie, both made it a bit disjointed. One of the better comic book movies to come out. I saw it in 2D. Looking forward to Captain America (in a few weeks) and the Avengers movie (whenever).

Went and saw this with my sweetheart. A visual feast with a decent storyline. Heck, awesome even if you want to catch a little something steeped in Norse Mythology.

I saw this on opening weekend in IMAX 3-D. It was great fun-- an adventure, light on the romance-- completely appropriate. The 3D effects are amazing.

I saw this movie in 3D on Saturday and was really impressed. It's got a dynamic pace for a superhero movie with some surprisingly good acting. Very tasteful use of 3D, too.

Just saw 3D version this weekend with my 10 year old son. We loved it. No questionable language, or uncomfortable love scenes, and the 3-D was quite natural. Actually can't figure out why it got the PG-13 rating vice PG. Lots of laughs, lessons and bad-guy butt kicking. Anthony Hopkins is a great dad and the gate keeper was such a great character. Can't wait for the sequel.

I'm so glad that they're continuing to do a good job with comic book movies. It's not an award winner, but it's very entertaining and well made. "I need a horse!" Oh, and stay after the credits, primarily if you're a comic fan. Otherwise you'll just say, "So THATS what was in the Pulp Fiction briefcase!"

It's a movie for a large number of people. Sci-fi, Action, Fantasy, Drama and Chick Flick lovers.
The special effects are definitely impressive.

One of the few good movies out right now. It's not going to win any oscars for acting, but very entertaining. And definitely see the 3D version!
