This is like a post-post-apocalyptic film. It's what happens to the people that survive at the end of all those other movies and it's not very nice.
It's really right down at the bottom on the jolliness scale but rather compelling.
Also, ignore the trailer over there. It gives totally the wrong impression.

I honestly do not recommend this movie, nor Cormac McCarthy's book to most, but the few that can handle its' bleak darkness will love it. It is truly a haunting story whether you watch it or read it. It goes down hard and sears the gullet. Many will dismiss it. I am glad for them and sad at the same time. La-la land has nothing to teach us. This movie does and it leaves the final lesson to us.
