A classic mindbender plus probably one of the best starting points for digging deeper into the great line of films directed by David Lynch. One of the movies where you actually might need to read through a "Movie explained" -article somewhere on the net after the movie, yeah, even if you consider yourself above average smart.

I'm generally a Lynch fan. This is polarizing but engrossing. What plot there is begins with a beautiful woman with a bag full of cash and a case of amnesia. The places Lynch takes you from there visually depicts dread, insecurity, lust, and evil.

Convoluted plot that fits together for the 1st half, then in true Lynchian style, paradoxes occur... The plot isn't to meant to fit together with a satisfying click (that's his intention, for reasons unknown), though really atmospheric and engaging

David Lynch is a man that makes the films he wants to make, and never has that been more evident than in Mulholland Drive.

Mulholland Drive is a puzzle that when is put together leaves you questioning whether the pieces fit together the way you wanted them to, and each subsequent viewing won't leave you anymore confident.

By large my favorite film to have conversation about after viewing.
