A combination of chaos theory and complexity rolled into a study of history. Little changes in variables create vast changes in effect & we never really know in advance how the effects self organize until long after the fact.

James Burke does a masterful job as narrator: drawing you in and holding your attention.

every kid should watch these with their parents, it is such a great thing to share wonder

Y-e-e-e-e-e-s-s-s! I remember being crushed when they downgraded the show from 1 hour to 1/2 an hour. Technology is crushing our attention spans. Wait, what were you saying?
