I'm reading the memoir of her rape, entitled Lucky, and it is so gripping. I also picked up The Almost Moon and I am just so captivated by her raw honesty and descriptive flair. One of my new favorites for sure.

Alice Sebold has a very raw and personal writing style. The fact that The Lovely Bones was based on her own experience of being raped makes it even more intense and tragic.
