Old classic NYC hotel bar. The drinks are absurdly pricey but they're good and the experience makes it worth it. Ludwig Bemelman (the artist and creator of the classic Madeline books) painted fantastic murals all over the space. It is the only surving Bemelmans' commission open to the public. The bar also features a pianist every night from about 6pm to 8pm.
