I really enjoyed this one and found it full of interesting insight into human behaviour and why we make the decisions we do, even if they make no rational sense.

Great insight into why we aren't as rational as we like to think we are.

It talks about how most of our decisions are irrational. I liked the experiments conducted by Ariely and also was surprised at some of the outcomes.

Few books can make you more smartly self-aware. Enjoy the truly modern-day insights gained from behavioral economics! Ariely tells great stories -- many of them, his own experiments.

Good narration of our irrationality and how we can predict it.

Behavioral econ in simple language for non-psych / non-econ types like me. Similar style to Freakonomics and the works of Gladwell. If you enjoyed those, you'll like this.

Why we are happy to do things, but not when we are paid to do them? If you are curious about the answer, there are many more questions like it in this book. Great insight!

A very entertaining read, similar to Frekonomics. Fun book, even if you know nothing about economics.

Awesome intro to behavioral economics. Ariely's writing is smooth enough that those with little to no economics interest will still have fun with this book.

a light, interesting read that blends behavioral economics and psychology. answers the hows and whys of human decision-making. unlike many other authors in his field (e.g. gladwell), ariely is actually an academic who uses his own research to support his points.
