It's hard to remember the time before Google and their products. Google Docs makes sharing and collaborating as simple as sending an email. It has matured a lot in the past two years and nowadays it can be considered as an valid replacement for Office for most people.

This was what seduced me into embracing cloud computing. While it does not have all the bells and whistles of MS Word, I get the impression that it will catch up in time.

Free, fully web based.
Cons: Not as good as MS Office (2007 and up)
