Marmite is deceptively versatile, yet here it is filed in "Toast Toppings". Sure, it's great on toast. But it's also good in sandwiches (with cucumber, or cheese, or both), as flavouring to gravy or as a drink in it's own right (just disolve a couple of tea spoon measures in hot water). It's fairly expensive for what it is though.
I was introduced to Marmite many years ago by a New Zealand family who could not find Vegemite in the US. I've never had Vegemite, but if it's as good as Marmite, I'd get it. Marmite spread thinly on hot buttered toast with a hot cup of tea, mmmm good.
