When friends visit NYC and want an affordable place to stay in a real neighborhood, I recommend this little Inn. It's a small B&B in a brownstone, on a beautiful Chelsea tree-lined St. Not fancy & rooms are small, but it's bright, clean, and with prices starting at $130/night (shared bath) or $180/night (private).
