Funny in a very creative way. Helps if you've read/seen Hamlet.

Witty and clever and quirky. This play/film is full of pithy wordplay surrounding the adventures of 2 minor Shakespeare characters. Written by Tom Stoppard and starring Tim Roth, Gary Oldman, and Richard Dreyfus, this is an absurdist, existentialist, surreal, picaresque(too many ists?) comedy about Rosencrantz and Guildenstern(Hamlet's 2 minor friends) and their inability to escape fate.
