I have a special love for stories with intergenerational friendships. Leon, Lawn Dogs, and The Fall are the greatest movies with that theme. This movie has a beautiful story and a beautiful visual style. The style and fantasy elements make this movie similar to The Fountain.

This is a gem. It's a deep and compelling psychological study of a broken man and addict. Through tall tales of daring-do he enlists a little girl to do his bidding, and she uses her imagination to bring these bent tales to life. One of the most beautiful movies I've seen. Incredible visuals and filmed in over 20 countries.

What a beautiful movie ! Its artistic, its romantic, its sad, its colourful, its a great work of art !

I have never seen anything like it, its a cinema masterpiece...

Lee Pace´s acting is strong, but besides the wonderful costumes, designs and decorations, the real star is the little girl, Catinca Untaru, WOW, what a performance.

A film by Tarsem Singh, best known for "The Cell", though this is a vast improvement upon that film. Full of incredible imagery, a heartbreaking story of redemption and a commentary on the nature of storytelling. A wonderful film
