You get to do work that you think is critical to everyone's lives. You also get to believe that you are the most important person there is.

Lead young adults to a career path and hopefully opportunities to succeed. You can also have an interesting personality and build up a reputation on your campus.
Cons: Some professors tend to stay behind the times and are stubborn when it comes to new ideas.
