Pro-level image quality and true 180 degree view. Ability to focus *very* close to subject. Lens hood can be sawed off to work with full-frame FX cameras.
Cons: For DX no real cons. On the FX side, cutting off the hood leaves the front element very exposed and you need to modify the cap to stay on the lens.
