Great sports, improving academics. I enjoyed my time there for the most part. I am from the south but I have never been conservative and Auburn is an almost exclusively conservative town where there's still racism and close-minded religious fanatics. If you can get past that, there are also plenty of down-to-earth tolerant people to hang out with.
