I'm nuts about nougat, especially the classic cubes (‘Napolitains’) with almond/pistachio or natural dried fruit.

I love any thing with nuts. This one looks really nice. But not sure where in US we can get it. Just find a recipe about it. www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/nougat-recipe/index.html. Hope this one is a true traditional one which I can make myself.

Spanish 'Turron' is available especially at Christmas, probably in NY all the time, and is a yummy alternative that comes in various flavors and textures. Sticky on dental work though, might get expensive.
