Simple enough for kids with mature themes for adults; sentimental, funny, philosophical, sweet, it's simply a fantastic piece of work.

Wow, that's a lot of money, but it made me post a Calvin & Hobbes as zombies pic as my Facebook profile pic.

Not only for entertainment, Calvin and Hobbes can also give you many insights on life. Whenever I open it up on a random page, I have a hard time letting it go again. Lovely!

Comic strips at their finest. The funnies page has never recovered from the drain of talent.

Very imaginative, never disappoints ! You need to provide a little imagination of your own to appreciate though.

Spikes pretty much said it. This strip was and is the greatest ever in my opinion. Especially for those who live their lives through the bright prism of imagination.
Cons: I have never been disappointed by a strip. I am only sad that Bill has moved on.

Witty and imaginative dialogue, beautiful art, enduring storyline with plenty of intriguing arcs. Nostalgic, but always fresh and funny. My longtime favorite.
Cons: No longer produced, and some of the minor side characters are a little staid.
