possibly my favorite book of all time. takes a deep look into the psychology of crime and ethnical moral debate of what constitutes a crime all in captivating writing.

this is a great book, but by the time you reach the end, you will will want to strangle the protagonist for all his uncertainty.

Being a meaty Russian novel, it will occupy your time well with its length and involved plot. Besides, it's a classic that I should read anyway.
