Great, inspirational movie. It raises some interesting ethical questions that are especially relevant now as we progress beyond the early stages of embryo selection, gene therapy,and neo-evolution.

Just watched this for the first time yesterday, and it instantly became one of the favorite sci-fi movies. It portrays such a detailed and well-thought-out vision of a dystopia in the near future that I can't help but feel afraid that it will become reality.

To me it's the most inspirational movie of all time. The story of a dreamer trying to do the impossible: go to space with a heart condition in an unforgiving future society. If you need to get inspired about anything, this movie will get you off your ass and put you back on your path to your dreams.
