Aldous Huxley's most famous book is an outing from our world to a dystopian society. A brilliant work that makes you wonder about the future of mankind.

Huxley's most recognized novel examines the struggles of meeting cultural expectation, the potential horrors of practices like selective breeding/genetic engineering, and the pitfalls of medically monitoring our emotions.
While the potential of a full-on experience of this dystopian-future is unlikely, Huxley nails aspects that can leave readers feeling a little horrified at our potential future.

Probably the best dystopia novel out there, makes you rethink about what human freedom really means

One of my favorite books ever. Exhibits perfectly the power of technology and why this power must not be used without caution.

Can I give this book more than five stars? It's one of my favourites. I can't imagine a dystopia more likely than this one.

A must read. The description of a utopian society and why human nature is never totally tamed. Scary and full of hope at the same time.

If you love dystopian visions of the future, this is a must read. Then again, if you love dystopian visions of the future, you've probably read this. Classic.

This is an insightful book that even today hits home. In the battle between Orwell and Huxley, I believe Huxley was right. What we love, our pleasant vices, will destroy us. Nothing proves that better for me than this book.

not too much of a stretch to see the way many of us choose to live as a version of this
a little much for an 11-year-old to absorb, not really for kids.

This was a difficult book for me to get into at first. Lots and lots (and lots) of detail to take in for the first chapter or so, but once it gets going, it's really very good. Makes you think about where society is headed and the stupid things we've come to value while putting such little value in the things that are truly important.

Best. Book. Ever. (But everyone loves a dystopian novel, am I right?)

This is my favorite book! The society in it has many scary parallels with ours. It keeps you interested the whole time.
Cons: The first chapter or so is very dense, but it's necessary.

If you liked Orwell's 1984 there is a good chance you will like this book. An insightful look into human nature and an exciting and frightening vision of the future.
Cons: I bit dense and slow in some parts.
