Hugely applicable field for employment in communications, information, social networks. Very flexible field for a range of interdepartmental subjects, from economics to paleopathology.
Cons: The economic crisis suggests that we should all get MBAs instead. Also, the stereotype of anthropology being an unknown study of everything is uninspired.
