I disagree that this is Shakespeare's shortest play--I believe that title goes to Macbeth. Some critics cite this as Shakespeare's masterpiece--the culmination of his life's work. A must-see.
Cons: If you prefer tragedies, a lack of fairies and magic, or if you're seeking something that's a full-blown comedy through and through, this one's not for you.

The shortest of his plays, and, by some, considered his goodbye to the stage. The only one of his works to break the 4th wall. Great plot with well developed characters and some memorable lines.
Cons: The shortest of his works.
