My favorite Stephen King book. This book really shows that King is not merely an horror writer.

This is a classic set of King novellas. Sometimes a great story doesn't need to fill an entire novel's worth of pages. The four very different stories in this book stand on their own and don't need any unnecessary elaboration that you might find in some other novels. I've read Different Seasons probably 3 different times over the past 10 years and I enjoy it every time.

The novellas are denser and more down to earth than King's usual stories. They blew my mind.
Cons: Absolutely none.

Includes four novellas, each representing a season of the year and each very different from the others. Great if you like variety and longer stories. If you collect King, you need this one.
Cons: None I can think of.
