This anime is based off the Japanese light novel series of the same name about a group of immortals during the prohibition era. It features unique story, funky music, a great cast of characters (including sadists and true narcissists), and blood and gore with the exact right amount of creepiness. One of my favorite series.

One of the best dubbed animes of the decade, Baccano provides a rich, fresh setting, and a great non-linear story that makes you think. Check it out if you want one hell of a ride through a prohibition-era Big Apple.

Set in Prohabition-era America, this anime is filled to the brim with action packed entertainment. The unique presentation of anachronistic order provides quite an unusual experience that will give you the great urge to watch this short (thirteen episodes, plus three ovas, meaning sixteen total) show again and again!
