The Everly Brothers had unrivaled vocal harmonies. Their songwriting was top notch as well and ranged from playful pop songs (Wake Up Little Suzie) to serious and morose ballads (Ebony Eyes).
Cons: The deteriorating relationship between Phil and Don lead to a famous on stage meltdown in 1973 that broke up the group for 10 years. In that period, the brothers refused to speak to one another.
