windows can be very annoying but it is less expensive then mac and much easier to use than linux

Better than any other desktop Microsoft Windows version to date. Almost on par with Microsoft Windows Server 2003 R2.
Cons: Still a PIG. It is huge and unless you turn off the large number of completely useless services they think you "need" you are looking at a lot of memory.

Good OS
Cons: a little bit harder to use if your use to XP or are a computer nerd. they "dumbed" it down too much

Win7 is very good; it has most drivers from start, so it's easy to connect your devices to your PC.

A better Vista!
Cons: Still will eat up computer space, but it can't be as bad. Time will tell.

Brilliant operating system, very fast. New taskbar design and effects make the system look beautiful, even on low end machines, More control over UAC and lots of great new features. Beats Vista by far
Cons: Still in beta stages so not available apart from a beta version, and still has a few bugs (not in leaked builds)

Compatibility is about the same as in Vista though there are the occasional ...
