Voltaire's comedic sense stays spot on even as the book continues to age. This quick, easily digested satire stays shockingly relevant through time and makes me laugh out loud with every reread.
Hilarious. I laughed out loud. Amazing that this book is 250 years old and still relevant (just replace "Lisbon earthquake" with any new disaster that is proclaimed to be the wrath of God)
A brilliant well-written book. And great to quote from. Cons: Depending on how you prefer to read it, the original is in poetry format. (as it was written)
