The game accomplishes everything it set out to do. Fun role-playing experience via brief main quest and various side missions. Cartoonish to the point of annoyance at times, and some may find it downright offensive - though the game clearly intends to be funny.
Ending isn't as gratifying as Fable 3, however still worth the 6-7 hours it takes to make it through the main missions.
The pinnacle of current-gen RPGs. The genre at its purest form, this great title from Lionhead Studios leads you on an epic, if sometimes kitschy, journey through the content-rich land of Albion. Cons: Fable does not try for the same "realism" as an Elder Scrolls title. Expect a cartoonish feel, but don't let that fool you: the powers you will eventually wield are truly epic in scale.
Gameplay simple for those new to adventure/RPG genre. Visuals gorgeous. Character's appearance changes depending on how you play the game (good/evil, lawfulness, skills, food), which is pretty neat. Cons: Experienced gamers may get bored quickly. Co-op gameplay is only good for introducing friends to the game, not for long-term play. Can be buggy.
