Yorkies are a wonderful breed. They make excellent watch dogs, so no one sneaks up on you. They are very sweet and lovable. They are very intelligent and are fast learners. They are also excellent problem solvers. The only problem is that they are stubborn and can be difficult to house train. But it is achievable. I have breed Yorkshire Terriers for years and I highly recommend them.

my yorkie is a one person kind of dog. she is incredibly sweet!

pros: good family dog, NEVER bites, no need for a walk & doesn't shed.
cons: barks at EVERYTHING, very hard to potty train, timid, and she is afraid of her own shadow. No kidding.

Cute, little, doesn't shed, playful, (OMG I could go on forever!)
Cons: ..Nothing, really :)
