Free music. Make playlist's, and and sync to your Iphone. Virtually all music ever recorded is on spotify. And i'ts a;; piracy free!

Thought they were copying iTunes at first but they're really not. Spotify works with iTunes to help you easily share music with your friends without having to send them low quality youtube videos the songs. You can easily just take a song from your library and send it to your friends so they can listen to the entire song!

For $9.99/month, I didn't think twice. As an avid music lover, and former collector, I was waiting for this type of service ever since I sold all my CDs back in 2008. Now, while Spotify has very good selection, it needs to beef up on some value added services, such as recommendations (hint hint @hunch), and customized news on releases and nearby concerts. The radio could also use improvement.

Really changed how I listen to music. I use it in the phone and I love to have access to my music where ever I am. The only thing I am missing is a good way to find out about new music I might like.

I love spotify. You can listen to a lot of songs just by searching for them, and you can add them to playlists as well as share them with your friends. Spotify even imports all of the music on your computer into one place.

With a subscription, this is the best Windows music streaming available in England. (I can't speak for Pandora, Rdio, etc.) Without one, the ads are absolutely agonizing.

All the Europeans know what Spotify is but this is new to us in North America. Spotify is the music service that lets you listen to almost every song out there whenever you want, however you want. It's fast, the subscription plans are as low as FREE, and the selection is huge. There are very few songs I don't see on Spotify.

I have replaced iTunes since Spotify integrates with iTunes. Spotify has a great selection of songs that I can listen to at any time. The commercials don't bother me at all. I actually think it's a great system.

Great service (even the free version), but I'm bummed they don't have The Beatles and a few others. It took iTunes years, so I'm not too sore about it.

Not only do I get to hear a wider range of music without commercials, I don't have to buy something just because the radio won't play it often enough.

Streaming entire songs by even some of the most obscure bands? Along with some of the radio hits being played today? Spotify is great. Yes, there are occasional ads, but I find that it completely makes up for that with it's playlist features, and huge huge catalog of music.

I only get the free version, but I get entire albums so quickly! You can also see saved playlists from other users! I love it!

Especially the Premium version. I use it on my android phone on the go. No need to download tracks to your phone and create playlists. Also you can use your friends playlists.

I'm really liking Spotify for letting me test out new music or music recommendations from friends/family in a legal way without having to pay for it first. Accessing media legally is really important to me as a member of the entertainment industry, and this is a great way to do it at low to no cost. You can integrate your iTunes library into the Spotify player too.

Premium service is a great value if you typically bought at least one album's worth of new music each month. Sound quality is noticeably better than Amazon MP3s and iTunes. Only complaints: no way to sync music I don't already own to iPod Classic (my car jukebox), and bug that makes Spotify list every song actually on my computer 10-50 times in my library, which makes scrolling hopelessly tedious.

Duh. Millions of songs, for free or not much, depending on your flavor. I am no longer considering the daunting task of turning a ton of scratchy vinyl into digital files.

So far, so good, for me too. It took a few days (to close to a week?) to get the actual invite email after signing up. There are audio ads in the free version. My partner thinks the sound quality is better than that of Grooveshark's.

Spotify is the ultimate music library 'in the cloud'. Just sign-up and access basically whatever music you're into with any computer, and most smartphones too!

Spotify is similar to Last.fm and Pandora, except that it lets you pick specific songs and albums to listen to- for free. It also imports music from your computer, system wide or from specific directories, and will sync songs to your iPod or Android device. There are premium accounts which will remove the ads and give you a higher stream rate along with a few other perks like better mobile access

Spotify. Been waiting for this to come to US for a year now. You can instantly listen to FULL albums for FREE. They do have upgrade packages but I haven't checked them out yet. Very sleek interface and well integrated with facebook and twitter.

Great service that gives you free music with some ads inbetween. You can go premium for a small fee and be spared the commercials, though there's really no need.
Cons: They've recently revised their free user policy, only allowing for 20 hours of music per week.
